I hear you Brock... that's funny. My parents just moved/down-sized into an "assisted living" facility, and had to get rid of some beloved furniture. They said I could have it, but only under the provision that I would protect it with those clear plastic covers.

It's now been about 3 months, and I do not envision ever being old (or anal) enough to get these. Never really thought of this in terms of pennants, however. I suppose it just depends upon how attached you are to what you're trying to protect- so I have to admit my double-standard!

This topic lends credence to the term "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
