Default Great site for panoramic photos

The 1904 pan of the Polo Grounds is just 40 years before I saw my first baseball game there.
The double deck of the stadium was extended up the right field and left field line.
It gave it the look of a horseshoe with the top being at the homeplate area.
The club house for both teams, were located in the deep center field area, some 505 or 515 feet away and in the playing area.
There were bleacher seats on both sides of the clubhouse.
Mays catch with his back to the plate in the 1954 WS off Vic Wertz attempt at heroics was in that area.
To say that the catch was sensational is an understatement.
His spin and throw back into the infield was unbelievable and bordered on the supernatural.

Thanks Jay:)
