MWI'm not going to take any sides in this debate, but for the record, Jason was an outstanding left-handed pitcher (and a decent hitter) who player professional baseball at a pretty high organized level and competed against many current major league players. In my opinion, he was probably good enough to someday make it to the major leagues himself but his life's path led him elsewhere. Don't discount what he says about the nature of today's game -- he has a great deal of practical knowledge about many aspects of the sport.
