Since I started collecting B-18 blankets many years ago, I have been troubled by the incorrect description of the colors combinations in all of the price guides. All of the guides list one of the color combinations for Pittsburg as RED bases and GRAY basepaths, and one of the color combinations for the St. Louis American League felts as GRAY bases and RED basepaths. In both cases, the correct identification should be PINK bases and GRAY basebaths for Pittsburg, and GRAY bases and PINK basebaths for St. Louis AL.

In addition, the guides also fail to identify the variety of green colors used in felts as well.

Proper id with regards to "green colors" should be:

Boston: Light Mint Green bases and pennants

Brooklyn: Dark Olive Green infield

New York NL: Green basepaths

St. Louis NL: Green bases

Cleveland: Green basepaths

Detroit: Light Mint Green basepaths and pennants

New York AL: Light Olive Green infield

Washington: Green bases and pennants

Perhaps, Bob L. can pass on these needed corrections?
