ScottI guess the set collector in me is more excited about being able to expand the set checklist rather than worrying about what value might be attributed to them.
Of course, I have to admit, that if I had bought these recently and paid a premium for them, I'd probably be thinking a lot more along your lines.. so I understand your point and regret your loss in $$$.
I'm fortunate to have had these lying around in my collection since the mid 70s (with no idea what set they came from) and was just excited to have finally been able to identify them.
