No, burnt orange isn't a color One prize I pulled from ebay a while back was the 1916 Spalding football guide - it describes in detail the first Texas A&M vs Texas football game at College Station. A&M upset texas 13-0. The guide doesn't mention that some Aggies branded the score on the steer, which was then re-branded by texas to read "BEVO".

I believe the ROTC students would agree that "roasted bevo" is indeed a tasty dish.
