however, I'm amazed you got through "Observations on the irrational conceits of readers" without a single spelling mistake!
it does make some sense -- everybody with a modem can send their beliefs out into the world, but many fewer have the organizational ability to put together a book and charge for it (though that is getting easier). while in your case, it's irrational for readers to want it only when you charge for it, it's not a completely irrational viewpoint in general.
