M.E.Not anticipating the populatity of the cards, they short printed the first run. That is why boxes are going for $250 and up. True to form, Topps is scurrying to get another production run to market. This will have the typical effect & of driving prices downward due to oversupply the eventual ambivilance and boredom by collectors. To somewhat offset this, I heard Topps is going to insert HOF cards and the variations such as Demmitt & Ohara in the issue. I wonder if there will be a 2000 06 Plank forthcoming...?
