Obaks... a lot of people who get burned from Verkman will just swallow and take their lumps and not return the cards or think that it is too much time and trouble, etc. You did the right thing by returning the cards. I think that they will continue to be sold in the overgraded condition, however, and that the next unsuspecting buyer may not be as fortunate. Verkman and his Clean Sweep Auction consistently place near the bottom of the VBCC dealer and auction feedback surveys. My own personal experience involved being lied to about 5 or 6 years ago in a case similiar to yours and although I eventually got my money back, never ordered from him again although I had previously spent several thousands of dollars on his cards.
