Default And while we're at it....Orange Borders

The E107 Breisch Williams Series was produced nearly a decade earlier than the Plow's Candy Set and contains over twice as many subjects, including such notable 19th and early 20th century players as Jack Chesbro, Ed Delahanty, Addie Joss, Willie Keeler, Rube Waddell, Vic Willis, and Cy Young. The 1903 Breisch Williams Set is also generally considered the prototype or forerunner to many of the later tobacco and candy cards.

With the exception of Ty Cobb, I really don't see what the allure of the E300 series is -- the “cards” (I almost want to write “lobby cards”) are an unusual size and were not discovered until the 1960s. The words “file copy” come to mind. In my opinion the E107 Series will always be far more popular AND more legitimate...and the name “Williams” has a certain consonance to it as well
