She started playing with a professional barnstorming team in 1931, the St Louis All Star" club. Played at least 5 years with that team. Per The Daily News and Intelligencer (Mexico Missouri) (Feb 9, 1940) playing for the 'Helen Stephens' Olympic Coeds' after have played 5 years with the St Louis All Stars and four years as coach at the Joplin Business College Team and as the manager of a team for the Grover Cleveland Alexander'
