It may have backed off a bit since then, but it is obviously seen a spectacular increase in price. Even examples in the 1.5 to 2 range have gone from around $2,500 to $100,000.
The Mighty T206 Wagner has only increased 7.78x since 2013: a PSA 1 Sold for $402,900 in May 2013 vs the same exact card selling for $3,136,500 sale in March of 2022

The PSA 3, 1921 Exhibits Ruth is up 21.5x since 2013 -- $950 in 2013 vs $20,400 most recent sale in 2022

Clearly neither of these are the winners, but I think the further the narrative that cards are solid investments and those owning cards in 2013 have done VERY well in the last ten years if they did not sell
