That is a minority position. Hornsby is widely considered the best 2b. Many consider Collins #2, but I would consider Lajoie his equal. Really you could have 9 tier one guys as Plank is the greatest LHP of the dead ball era.

Alexander is ridiculously underrated. 3rd in wins, 2nd in shutouts, 5th in WAR for pitchers. Tied with Matty in the 1st stat and ahead of him in the later two. He is only one of three pitchers to win the triple crown 3 times, along with Walter Johnson and Sandy Koufax. The 1914 CJ is his first mainstream baseball card.
