This was probably signed earlier as Malone added his nickname 'Mailman'. I would guess this was signed at a team event as Stockton was a notorious non-signer on the road. When I was collecting in person in Boston in the 80's and 90's he would walk by and not say a word. He would usually try to sneak by while you were getting someone else.
