I have always liked the 67 set, ever since I saw the Mantle as a brand new collector (and that was not a great Mantle photo either). However, I am not sure that I love the image of Brooks on that card. To me it is a boring spring training type batting pose. If this was a dime a dozen regular 67 star card and not one of the harder to get and highest priced high numbers, do you suppose it would be as well loved? I mean the 69 is the same image, just cropped tighter and that is nothing special.

I voted for the 64, perhaps personally for me because it got later exposure on the 75 T MVP subset and 82 K-Mart MVP sets. It is just a cool card in my mind and the card design is not bad either.

I think for that period, 1965 is my favorite card design, but that huge kind of goofy face shot is unappealing to me.
