That 1957 Ted Williams is one of my all-time favorite cards...maybe #1 ever. There is a bit of an old and tired look to the Kid at age 38, but he still managed to bat .388 that season and have what some may consider the second best season of his career. Of all of Teddy Ballgame's cards, this one for whatever reasons feels the most majestic and regal--kind of like it's saying, "Yeah, yeah, I'm a cranky and achy curmudgeon but I'm still Ted Williams, the best f@%^ing hitter who ever lived."
