good point. But if you list a whole bunch of crappy DVDs from your garage and have no intention of actually selling them, you could do this strategy.
I'm not saying it's the honest thing to do (cheating eBay), but it is something I figured out as I was working out a deal with someone here on Net54 who has something I want and had listed on eBay. I figured we would both be better off with a BIN vs. a negotiated price outside the 'Bay (we each made about $15 to $20 by utilizing the eBay coupon vs. transacting outside the 'Bay).
Then the wheels started spinning...
