Christies was going to charge right at $1,400 to ship but I was able to get the UPS Store on 82 Nassau Street in NYC to pick up, package and ship to me with $5k insurance for $312.05. Yes, I had to pay the $188 sales tax but after it's all said and done I still saved $900 using a third party shipper.

I might have to do that too. They want to charge me over $1300 for shipping, $185 for insurance and $1600 for sales tax. That is crazy. I can ship my car overseas for cheaper than the shipping. Do you have a contact at that UPS location?
