Good question. The Bucknell yearbook spelled it "Yencer". The alumnus newsletter clipping in the linked thread calls him "Yentzer" which is the same name given in
BBref.com although the index heading is "Yenser" so go figure. Then there's this:
yentzer: a dated Americanism for a male who copulates frequently. So he had that going for him. Let's just call him Yance.
