I was curious who held the Cubs mark. It's Bill Hutchinson, who set the team mark of 314 in 1892. I guess not everyone could catch up to Bill's heater even in the contact hitter days. It also doesn't hurt when you have 67 CGs...

Fergie Jenkins is the closest modern pitcher to the Cubs record.
