Kershaw has started 8 post season games. He's had three bad starts, and five quality starts (four of which he went at least six innings, and gave up two runs or fewer). In 2013, through his first three starts of the post season, he had a 0.47 ERA with 23 K's in 18 IP. So, he was pitching quite well. Then the Cardinals blew him up.

He's had some real success, but those couple of awful starts skew his overall ERA terribly.

Koufax was simply phenomenal in the post season. He was only 4-3, but his ERA was 0.95, and his WHIP was 0.825 with 9.6 K's/9 IP. That's filthy.
