I agree that it's bad, but I disagree that the 'ere' look identical in Ruth's writing. Compared to this example they might seem to look identical in a good one (because here it's horrible), but when comparing two examples of 'Sincerely', one good and one bad, by forgers that were even halfway thinking, the forgery can often be spotted because the letters DO look identical.

I also agree with you about the 'a', but while his 'a' is often narrow, it doesn't come up to the 'b' that way.

Just my two cents - nice not to have any skin in the game on these discussions.
