Depends on your decorating style. Some prefer lots of photos covering the wall. Others prefer nice frames to accent the photos.

I prefer frames, but often I will scan and copy the original and frame the copy while keeping the original secure. Some of the higher end collectors keep their most valuable photos in a safe deposit box. Framing a copy allows for enjoyment and protection.

Here are a couple of my walls in my mancave. In these some are the originals and some are copies, but no one can tell the difference.
