Default WWII Ruptured Duck Baseball Uniform Patch

These are original patches made just after the end of WWII. The Ruptured Duck was an emblem worn by servicemen who had received an honorable discharge. From the research I've done, MLB planned to have the players who served wear these on their uniforms. It never really caught on so I could only find a few photos of players actually wearing them.

This is not one of the recent repros made by Cooperstown Collection. The patch measures approximately 5.5" across and has never been worn.

Grey Flannel sold one a few years ago for $120.00.

I have two of these and am asking $50.00 $40.00 each or $80.00 $65.00 for the pair (including shipping). Please message me if interested. Thanks!
