Up for sale tonight is an oversize 1946 Newark Eagles original Negro League team photo picturing 4 HOF'ers: Biz Mackey, Monte Irvin, Leon Day & Larry Doby. The photo measures approximately 10 3/4" X 11 1/2" (please see attached scan) and is mounted on a scrapbook page that indicates above the photo that this is the 1946 Negro League Champions and below mentions a player named Patterson who is not present in the photo. On the back of the scrapbook page are two seemingly period newspaper/magazine photos, one picturing Effa Manley, who is a very tough HOF'er to find on anything.
