Agree on Dave Parker. He was all-everything in the late 1970s. Parker, Foster, Rice, Lynn, and Reggie were the OF demigods of my childhood. I remember watching a game (1979 AS?) where Parker threw out TWO runners from the outfield. Unheard of, at least to a 9-year old.

And I remember much more vividly the 1988 WS game where Hershiser notched three hits, including two doubles, while holding the entire A's team to three hits. And all three hits were by Dave Parker!! This was a man who terrorized opposing pitchers and baserunners like no other, at least while in his prime.
