To avoid having everyone having to search, the item in question is this:
Ca.1930's/40's Spalding National League Baseball 12 Count Box All MINT UNOPENED
They were in a sealed box but the seller split the box to ensure that the contents were what he thought they were so it was 12 separate boxed baseballs. $2400 was the sale price.
Pretty cool.
