I recently ran across this Lefty Gomez stamped baseball by a company called Daviga which was originally located in New York City. I believe the ball dates from the 1930's to maybe early 40's. For the most part, the stamping on the ball has held up quite nicely. I think the pictures should answer any questions you might have about it.
