I see the Babe Ruth "rookie era" bat that was sold for $1,000 (and then apparently unsold) on Ebay last year is now up for auction. There was quite a spirited thread about it last year -- I tried to bring it back up to the top, but failed.
Did anyone ever find out what happened -- did the person who bought it on ebay get to keep it?
