Jack Warhop
Here are a few RPPCs of hard-luck pitcher Jack "Crab" Warhop, at the beginning of his professional career with the 1906-1907 Wisconsin State League Freeport Pretzels.
Warhop went 82-20 in three minor league seasons from 1906-1908, leading to his 8 year career with the NY Highlanders/Yankees,1908-1915.
18 year professional baseball career notwithstanding, Warhop is most remembered for giving up Babe Ruth's first two major league home runs.
