No, my understanding is that a baseball season is defined as 183 days. I assume starting at opening day.
That would mean that spring training doesn't count, and the post season doesn't count.
It's like if you make $700 per week, and only work 5 days, but you get a hundred dollars for each day of the week, not $140 for each work day. So if you call in sick for a day, you still get $600 for the week.
