Default Baby Anson

Found at the Culver City Show...what is interesting is that the front depicts and ad for Dyer and Hughes Organ from Foxcroft, Maine...this was a decent sized company who advertised in several New England newspapers/magazines and was in business for a decent amount of time. The back however is certainly different for me. Most of these trade cards are found with blank backs. However, this one has a printed line on the back. It reads: "W.H. Letters & Son, Putnam, Conn." After a bit of research, I found out that Letters and Son was a music store in Putnam Conn in the late 1800s. So, I now know that this particular trade card was given to a retailer to hand out. I thought that was pretty interesting as I previously thought that most of these cards were given out by the front advertiser or local businesses...but this one was given out 300 miles and three states away!
