My question was photos of same, or similar content. That is where the biggest judgment of comparison will come into play.
The newby photos, I know, will not get the praises the established icons have already received, but because of same or similar content, how fairly can they be judged, even though they may or may not be exemplars for a Thompson or Burke, etc.....
Do you have examples you want to share? There is nothing that is saying this is impossible. The Conlon Eyes are iconic as they were done in 1927 of murderer's row(one of the most storied-if not the most group in baseball) and shot by Conlon and published a ton. There have been other done since but obviously not the same for various reason. Maybe not as well done, done after, ect ect ect.
