I have never been to the National, but in my experience at other large conventions is that pricing is typically at "premium" levels. Maybe they are looking for an impulse buyer with money burning a hole in his pocket or the prices are bumped to pay for the high table fees. Either way, when I see fantasyland pricing, I figure they built in plenty of buffer to negotiate down quite a bit.
