Although this postcard was clearly inscribed and mailed during the 1907 World Series, the photo appears to be from the 1906 World Series. The White Sox had dark road uniforms with "CHICAGO" on the front, and white caps with dark brims, whereas the Tigers (in 1907) had gray road uniforms with the old-English "D" in front, and dark caps.
It's still a valuable postcard!
