As collectors, everything that we do; every purchase, every trade, is motivated by that "whatever it is" that makes this hobby our addiction of choice. Sometimes, it is easy to get so caught up in the moment and forget that not everyone is in it for the love of cards. Auction houses, grading companies and a major percentage of sellers are just here to make a profit. If suddenly there was more money to be made dealing with vintage, polished turkey turds...away they'd go.
