Staining on Caramel Cards - Grade ? or Leave Raw

Posted By: Todd C
Do the grading companies automatically downgrade cards when the candy cards have a stain ? I am thinking about sending this one in but if it is already destined for a low grade, I may consider leaving it a raw card. Your thoughts are appreciated.

I recently picked up this E95 card.

Posted By: Matt
PSA seems inconsistent in handling stains. I have seen cards get downgraded due to stains, get an ST qualifier and others have the stain completely ignored:
the back of a PSA 5:

Posted By: barrysloate
I would hope they take it into consideration, but I imagine it has to do with the severity of the stain. A light stain on a Cracker Jack comes with the territory. An unsightly one would and should be a factor.

I'm hedging because it's hard to figure these graders out.
