Vintage items from childhood

Posted By: David Davis
I put this puzzle together over 30 years ago, and have taken it with me from one house to another. I believe the cards were from Bert Sugar's collection. My friend's dad was Bert's lawyer, and actually saw the cards, although he was too young at the time to appreciate them. I know he had a great collection, but I always wondered if the Wagner was real.

Does anyone else have anything vintage, or vintagish from when they were young?

And in the scrapbook is a sheet of paper with Mel Ott's signature in ink. He waited outside the Polo Grounds and got it in person. He then took the sheet home a drew a picture of Ott in his classic batting pose. It's quite beautiful.
