E100

Posted By: Adam J. Baxter
Hey doubleday,

E100 are one of three Pacific Coast League issues put out Bishop & Co., all of which are pretty rare. The others are E99 and E221 teams. I believe they were included in packages of chocolate. There are two types in the E100 set, with Type 2 being the rarest. If they do come up for sale it's usually in one of the auction houses (Mastro, REA, etc.. I've also seen a few examples of E99/E100's pop on Ebay from time to time. They can be pretty pricey even poor/fair examples can sometimes go for a couple hundred bucks. IMO the black & white players with the color background is one of nicest and most disctinctive of all pre-war issues. I'm no expert on these, but I hope this little bit helps.

- Adam
