I want to safely remove cards from slab

Posted By: Greg
Hello All!

This is my second posting now and week one of this site/chat room. I am really enjoying myself and learnign a lot.

I am a new collector of pre-war cards (I am only 35 years old) and I am starting my collection with 1887 A&G cards. Once I have the full collection, I would like to display them in my room.

My first question is, is there any special handling I need to do when I display them? I was planning on having them bordered and framed.

My second question is how do I get these slabbed cards out of the case ina safe manor? Most are riveted.

Thank you!
Greg

Posted By: Dylan
Does an E91(or any issue) thats graded PSA 1 with a qualifier(why on earth does a psa one even get a qualifier, you cant grade any lower??) increase its value over what a raw card would sell for? Is grading cards that obviously would grade a 1 and are obviously authentic raise the value or is this mostly being done for the "protection" the slab offers? Also SGC doesn't condomize any cards inside their holders like PSA does right?
