Wrong Back Magee
Posted By: Scott Gross
Saw Leon's wrong back Magee on 3rd Jan pick-ups. I do have a question ():

What are people's opinions on whether this could/should be considered a e92 vs. e102 (or even e101)??
My gut reaction is for e102, since both e102 and e78 are annonymous backs, and list players/boxers in the same stair-step manner. Whereas e92 and e101 have no check lists, just advertise "50" players.

What a great card .......... although I wouldn't mind owning a e78 with a "correct" front either ..........

I'd tend to agree with you in categorizing it as an anonymous card...whether an e101 or 102...I'd agree as well and categorize it as an e102 as the checklist is similar to that of an e102. Is this magee pose the same as the e92, e101/102?

pete in st paul

Wrong Back Magee
Posted By: leon
I posted it as an E92 as the poses are said to be the same as the other series, yet I could not find a pic of an E92 Magee, and I don't have an E92 Magee with the correct back. I used the "E92" as it's the lowest number in the series of same front cards....easy as that...It certainly could be one of the others.....best regards

Posted By: fkw
Nice pick up Leon, The Magee looks to have come from the same goofed sheet as that Cy Young with the same back. Wonder how many more are out there from that sheet?
