Going Prices on E95 Plank SGC 10 and Matty SGC 30?

Posted By: Jon Canfield
I was curious to get the board's opinion on going price for a E95 Plank in SGC 10, or an E95 Matty in an SGC 30. In other words, what is a good "buy" price. I have been offered each for sale and just trying to gauge what I should pay.

Thanks!

Going Prices on E95 Plank SGC 10 and Matty SGC 30?

Posted By: quan
all dependent on the actual condition of the card. if the plank don't have massive paper loss on front or back, or it doesn't look like it's been gone through the washer twice...i would think $150 is fair, so a good buy would be $100. matty same, if the card just have worn corners or light creasing and not a terrible heavy crease across the card, i'd say $300 is fair, $200-$250 is a good price range.

My opinion may differ from others though.

Posted By: Anson
I think you might be a little on the conservative side, based on what I've seen recently. Matty and Plank both seem to be quite hot right now and command a little more than one would expect. Although E95s aren't too tough, they still grab substantially higher numbers than their T206 counterparts.

Posted By: Joe Jones
I agree a sgc 30 Matty would probably go for 5-600. The plank I would say around 200-250.

Going Prices on E95 Plank SGC 10 and Matty SGC 30?

Posted By: Jon Canfield
Guys I appreciate the info and hope to have some more feedback too. Here's the deal in a little more detail. I was offered both today for $800 for the pair (individually the Plank for $325 and the Matty for $575 if I want to pick and choose) I actually had the choice of two different Matty's, too. The one Matty has ok colors, and 3 small creases and light staining on the back; SGC 30. The other Matty had a more visible crease, but very vibrant colors and a BEAUTIFUL back; SGC 30. The Plank was an average SGC 10 - 3 creases, One major going through the front right of the card about 2/3 down the length of the side; rounded corners, etc. It's a tough call to make... the Plank seems to be a very difficult card to get in the E95's recently - I just haven't seen any for sale. At $250, I would have bought - at $325, I have to think. $800 for the pair seems better but to be honest, $800 on a college student budget isn't as easy as it was to get when I was working! Any other opinions?

Posted By: quan
I'm out of touch on pricing, as usual...$325 for a plank sgc10 seems very high to me. I'd just be inclined to wait and buy a raw card then, much lower. As a matter of fact there's that raw Plank on ebay that no one wants to touch. Besides the low feedback seller and $50 express shipping fee, card looks real and VGEX, good deal for $700 even if it's VG then.

Going Prices on E95 Plank SGC 10 and Matty SGC 30?

Posted By: Josh K.
Im not sure about the matty, but $250-275 seems about right for an sgc 10 plank. I won the plank below on ebay last year for about $180-190. Since then, Ive had offers as high as $250 for it. The front is nice for a 10 (no creasing/wrinkling in the picture itself), but the back is a mess.
