Posted By: Michael Peich
I'll be at Ft. Washington Friday and Saturday. Scott Mosley and I are meeting Saturday at 12:00 noon in the snack area (just a few steps down from Ted Z's booth), and I invite all of you who are at the show to join us. We had a similar gathering two years ago (lots of good discussion with Bob Lemke and others), and it was great fun. Come out and have fun perusing/buying cards, and join in on good conversation about our passion--printed pieces of cardboard. We'll even try to get someone to cover Ted's booth. Now, if we could only get Tim Newcomb and TBob out of the boonies, Bill Cornell off the Fault-line, and the Moderator Dude out of Texas and up into civilization......

Cheers, Mike

Posted By: Keith
How does grading at shows work. How long does the grading take? Do you drop it off and then they mail it to you, or wait for it? Also what companies are there - If I recall last Ft. Washington show SGC and PSA were there but not sure. One last question, sorry for all of them
I have a signed John Lennon 60's topp card that I wanted to get authenticated. Will PSA do this?

thanks guys
Keith

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
Keith

SGC....PSA....GAI....Beckett have been on-site grading the past
three shows this year and I assume will be there next weekend.
If you go to the Show FRI or SAT you should have no problem get-
ting your card(s) graded within the W/E, or if lucky in a few hours.

You mighy be interested to know that GAI will "pre-grade" a card for
a fee of $5.-; and, you get the results quite quickly. I like this
feature as I am not into graded cards but for the benefit of someone
interested in buying one of my cards, availing myself of this service
75% of the time will clinch the deal. Plus, my booth is a short walk
to the GAI booth.

I do not know if the other Grading Co. at the Show provide this service.

Posted By: Ted Zanidakis
Alan doesn't bite, he is a real friendly guy.

There are many dealers at this show and this Expo Center is
huge. My suggestion to you guys is to meet at specified times
over in the snack area where there are quite a number of large
tables.
I'm at the next cross aisle over from the snack area and I can
serve as a "traffic cop" to coordinate members' meetings. And,
I will try to get together with you and talk BB cards, compare
notes, or whatever.

Also, I have some favorite restaurants in the area which I can
recommend.
