Best way to sell Baseball books

Posted By: vintagecatcher
I have decided to sell off my baseball library, and I'm curious as to what is the best way to sell off my collection.

Any recommendations: Used books dealers, EBAY, Buy/Sell/Trade thread?

Many of the books are oversized issues so mailing them could be quite costly.

Thanks, Patrick

Posted By: tbob
Patrick- I have found some success in selling books about pre-war baseball in the vintage sports cards section on ebay, unless of course the ebay police are out and bounce your listing for being in the wrong category.
Bob

Posted By: Daniel Bretta
The SABR Bulletin that comes out bi-monthly has advertisements for baseball book buyers who buy in bulk. I'm at work right now so I don't have a copy on me, but I can email the buyers info to you tonight or tomorrow.
Posted By: Bob D
I had about 20 Reach BB Guides from 1906-1930 and originally thought I'd contact the 2-3 people who advertise in the SABR newsletter (forget their names). All offers I received were in the same price range ($200 I think). I decided to put 3 of the guides up for auction and got more for those 3 than I was offered for 20. Needless to say I sold the rest on ebay. And yes I had Libertyforall and his many permutations on my banned buyers list.
