T3 Pop report
Posted By: WP
What do you think of this, PSA has graded 768 Turkey Reds only 2 have graded NM-MT 8, 5 have graded NM 7. Both of the NM-MT 8s are Ty Cobb. Was there a pristine Cobb find?

During the last week the 2nd was
graded when the pops rose from 727 to 768.
There has been some speculation that the new Cobb was the high
graded GAI version...jay

T3 Pop report
Posted By: Marc S.
T3s have been exceedingly hot lately - with PSA 6 commons fetching in the $2k range.

I thought the GAI 9 Cobb [if my memory serves correctly] sold in the $50 - $75k range a few years back. I would suggest that the upper end of that range is where I would place the price these days.

Posted By: jay wolt
WP - I always thought that 1st Cobb PSA-8 would be a 6 figure card, now w/ the advent of another one it may dip below that. But then are either for sale? And if only one is, it will be a bidders only chance to obtain it.
So it should be fun to watch.

MS - you are correct $2k for a PSA-6 is like a standard price now. A Boss Schmidt PSA-6 sold for $2805 on eBay 2 weeks ago. That was the highest price I ever saw on a common.
Between the T3's & the T9 boxers, there are 51 PSA-6's graded of the 126 subjects...jay
