If there were more people like gray out there, Ebay would be even better. It would be nice to be able to buy very nice legit un graded cards but this is just more evidence for me that unless I get a referral from the experienced collectors on here as to who to buy from I will stick with purchasing graded cards on ebay. Seeing this kind of stuff just makes a true collector sick.<br />They stab it with their steely knives but they just cant kill the beast.

My scans were a lot closer and showed that they were quite beat up. Plus, the buyer asked me to rush the cards to the post office because they were for his/her son's birthday. I knew this to be untrue, but sent the cards expedited anyway. I guess I should've known. He traded it to a relative newbie just looking for any Cobb for a Steiner Soriano jersey. The guy that ended up with it was so happy that it will probably be tucked away in his collection for quite sometime.

This card was graded by a professional card grader at GAI." Now BVG is a respected vintage grader? <br /><br />It is odd that they left out a scan of the back. We all know that GAI usually doesn't grade something a 2 without having something quite obvious. The scan doesn't seem to look any worse than a 4. I would say the breakup value of the lot is about $750 at the most and some of them would be hard to get rid of at any price. What do you do with 2 extra Tannehill cards that have been to a barber shop?<br /><br /><br />I cant imagine putting together a set so low grade that you would settle for 70% of a Jimmy Dygert card.<br /><br />I believe this seller sold his morals on ebay last year and they got a good price because they were unused
