19th Century Tintype photo help needed???

I have found that tintypes from this era are found <br />printed this way many times. Posted By: <b>barrysloate</b><p>Hi Tony- without the presence of any baseball equipment, it would be impossible to say for sure whether or not it is baseball. Even a ball alone wouldn't clinch it. Without a bat, or in later tintypes a catcher's mask or fielder's glove, you can only speculate.<br /><br />Edited to add yes, unless the photographer went to the trouble to reverse the image, it would appear backwards (you can hold it up to a mirror if you want to identify what's on his chest).
