Posted By: <b>Dan Bretta</b><p>I was lucky enough to acquire this photo from a gentleman in Scottsbluff, NE after doing a previous transaction with him on ebay I asked if he had anything else related to baseball in Nebraska and I about fainted when he sent me a picture of this item....well today it has arrived. That's a full sized baseball bat for comparison. Photo is from opening day, April 21, 1911 at Antelope Park in Lincoln for a game between the Lincoln Railsplitters and the Denver Grizzlies. Mike, I'm still reeling a bit and I never thought I would find something this nice relating to the earliest years of baseball in Lincoln...this gives me hope that there are even more items like this out there...what I wouldn't give for a uniform or one of those sweaters.<br /><br />Pete, it's going to hang right in my living room.

Posted By: <b>Dan Bretta</b><p>I have Joe....I lost my magnifying glass (Or my kid lost it is more likely) and I've been wanting to scan the crowd with it. <img src="/images/wink.gif" height=14 width=14><br /><br />I emailed pics to Bruce Esser today - he is a member of SABR and THE AUTHORITY on Nebraska minor league baseball and this is the first picture he has ever seen of Antelope Park.
