Why grade reprints?

Posted By: Lee Behrens
It looks like GAI is into grading reprints too:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2775070611&category=16 277

I guess you grade what people want graded, some integrity would be nice but I guess it's money to them.

As far as the submitter I don't think much of them because the only reason I can think of to get reprints graded would be to deceive people into getting something they really are not getting.

Happy Holidays

Lee

Why grade reprints?

Posted By: leon
I respectfully disagree on both accounts. I think folks that get reprints graded are NOT trying to deceive folks and the grading companies are at least grading them correctly as "reprints".....so as long as they don't grade them as real I personally see no problem with integrity. It's the folks that try to pass the fakes as real, especially when they know they aren't, that I have an issue with. The grading companies are only doing what folks want.....for a profit (business)like you said...I don't have an integrity issue with them (anymore, once I thought about it, and after last time we debated it)....breast regards

Why grade reprints?
