eBay feedback

Posted By: jay behrens
I was bored and decided to to look back on all the feedback I have left in the 5+ years I have been on eBay.

In that time I have left almost 100 more feedbacks than I have received, 10 of those I left were negatives. The lone negative I have came from a dealer who tried to presell the item to a customer of his and then tried to claim the item was a fake after his customer backed out of the deal. For those that are wondering how I know this, the dealer happened to live in Florida and I had a friend that lived in the same town, so I asked him to see what was up.

Based on my feedback experience, people fears about retaliatory negative feedback seem unfounded, I do know it happens. Probably more often than my experience indicates.

Jay

Am I doing something wrong or ill advised? I always try to mention the thing i bought in my feedback, so readers can see what seller is selling.

Posted By: TBob
Around 2500 on the feeback score and one frigging negative, retaliation from a guy with 6 negatives in his last 7 or 8 feedbacks yet ebay won't bounce his ass. I didn't even give him a negative feedback, just filed for a final value credit fee which I got then ebay wrote him and told him I was asking the almighty god ebay for a buck back and it would go on his permanent record and put him on double secret probation, I guess. I checked the other items he bid on (he bid and won a Woody Allen vhs tape from me) and saw where he won an all nude Markie Wahlberg magazine and other items but I won't go there for fear of offending any card collectors here with alternative life styles...
